As a Driving Force in her field for well over a decade, Dr. Sara Lahoud, Optometrist, has been instrumental in Changing the Face of Optometry. Early in her career, she trained in prominent clinics alongside experts specializing in the Management of Ocular Disease and in Preoperative/Postoperative Evaluations for Refractive Surgeries. The hands-on experience gained during these years has contributed greatly to making her into the fine Doctor of Optometry she is today. Her Stellar Reputation in the field precedes her, as, year after year, she continues to make important contributions to the industry.
Dr. Sara Lahoud, Optometrist, is—first and foremost—a Highly Skilled Doctor of Optometry possessing multiple awards including Prizes of Excellence in Pediatric Optometry and Binocular Vision. She is also a recipient of the Certificate of Commendation from the National Board of Examiners in Optometry.
Dr. Sara Lahoud, Optometrist, is not only recognized for her Expertise in the discipline, but she is also celebrated for her Unique Approach to Patient Care. The culmination of her efforts to further personalize and facilitate the Optometry Experience is the perfect melding of the Expertise and the Empathy she employs in her day-to-day practice. Dr. Sara Lahoud, Optometrist, is also a tireless Advocate for the Next Generation of Optometrists. While completing her Doctorate in Optometry at the Université de Montréal, her contributions to the future of the Student Body there were significant. She steadfastly dedicated her time and her efforts to these up-and-coming Doctors of Optometry by serving as Vice-President of the Association des Étudiants en Optométrie de l’Université de Montréal (AÉOUM), and as the Trustee to the American Optometric Student Association (AOSA) on behalf of the Université de Montréal. Her work and support were deemed invaluable to the Advancement of Future Optometrists.
In 2017, Dr. Sara Lahoud, Optometrist, took her Devotion to the Students of Optometry to the next level. She proudly became a Clinical Faculty Member at the Université de Montréal. Her mission is to make Important Contributions in Bettering the Education and Training of Québec’s future Doctors of Optometry.
In 2017, Dr. Sara Lahoud, Optometrist, took her Devotion to the students to the next level. She proudly became a Clinical Faculty Member and Lecturer of the Université de Montréal Eye Clinic (CUV) teaching students Advanced Clinical Techniques and making Important Contributions to Bettering the Education and Training of Québec’s future Doctors of Optometry.
In her continued efforts to emphasize the importance of Optimized Vision, Dr. Sara Lahoud, Optometrist was instrumental in helping to promote one of today’s most important Optometric Organizations. She co-founded the Montréal Student Fundraising Chapter for “Optometry Giving Sight,” a Global Fundraising Initiative that uses the collective power of the Optometry Community to target preventable blindness and impaired vision due to uncorrected refractive error. That year, UdeM was the Worldwide Leader in Fundraising. It has remained one of the Top Fundraising Schools helping to give the Gift of Sight to Millions of People Worldwide.
Starting now, Dr. Sara Lahoud, Optometrist, is Setting her Sights on providing an Optometry Experience with “More Than a Shade of Difference” at HARINA Optométristes.
